Importing and Exporting NFTs on Metacraft
Metacraft.pro was officially launched a month ago, on Nov 19, 2021. Our communities are quite active in minting and trading NFTs on our platform. The Metacraft team has also received a lot of inquiries about importing and exporting NFTs on our platform.
Metacraft is a Dapp based platform that provides powerful tools for creating and minting NFTs. There are many active users creating NFTs seeking to transfer them into and out of Metacraft. Metacraft supports and encourages these innovations as the vision of Metacraft platform is to create an open platform for all. Users who would like to transfer their NFTs created outside Metacraft into our platform must follow the standards of Metacraft. NFTs consist of two parts, the NFT assets, such as pictures, music, movies, etc., and NFT tokens represented by the standards ERC721, ERC1155, ERC998. All minted NFT assets must be stored on IPFS or other similar solutions. As such all NFT assets on Metacraft are stored on IPFS. As a Dapp based platform, IPFS provides the foundation to ensuring secure storage of NFT assets, and one which is nearly unhackable and accessible anytime. Those NFT minting solutions that happen to store their NFT assets on centralized servers are not permitted to be imported and/or listed on Metacraft. One of the most important Metacraft features is connecting to various Metaverses. Metacraft acts as a bridge connecting the real world and Metaverse worlds, and the solution to ensure uniqueness and authenticity of the assets transferred between these two worlds is NFT. Therefore, we do not allow any solution that has the capabilities to modify an existing NFT to have a presence on our platform. Secondly, the minting contracts must be audited and certified. This is obviously due to security concerns. Bad acting creators of minting contracts have the ability to insert vulnerabilities and back doors into the NFT token contracts. Metacraft smart contracts are audited by Certik to ensure the security and safety of the minting, trading and transferring processes, in the same manner as submitting an ERC20 token listing on a CEX where an audit report would be required. This is to ensure Metacraft remains a secure and reliable platform for innovations by our community, without whom we cannot survive or thrive. Consequently, those who would like to connect their creations with the Metacraft platform need to contact us to ensure adherence to our data, minting contracts, audit and certification standards.
Exporting NFTs on Metacraft is also very simple as Metacraft is a Dapp, where nearly everything is executed and stored on the blockchain. Your creations and minted NFTs remain in your own wallets and can be transferred anywhere.^_^
